Super Dark Collective brings you gratis punk tunes from every which way this Monday. Toronto garage punk trio Wine Lips just released their full-length album Stressor in February, New Paltz “goof punk” duo TOP Nachos released DANK SIDE OF THE MOON in late 2018 and Asheville, NC’s “post-punk indie warriors” Tongues of Fire will bring the heat. Their new project Everyone Hates Us dropped March 1 via Godless America Records.

Call for art: “The Family Showcase” at The National Bottle Museum
This show is open to two or more local artists from the same family creating work in a collaboration or as a pair/ group. Art in any medium and size is acceptable and must be subitted as ready to hang or display in the gallery at The National Bottle Museum in Ballston Spa. “The Family Showcase” is on display April 5-May 18 and costs $30 per family for up to six pieces of art. The National Bottle Museum will take 30 percent commission on all sales. Art may be submitted until March 30, 4 PM.

The original short play festival by Confetti Stage seeks to develop and highlight local playwriting talents and is currently accepting sumissions to be considered for a play development process and the 15th annual festival in October. Playwrights will be notified in June if their work has been accepted and should be prepared to make arrangements with the playwright peer to start the development process.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
- An original work by a playwright currently local to the Capital Region (works that have NOT been previously produced are encouraged) that is less than 30 minutes long. Judges will read selected plays out loud to ensure that they do not go over that limit. If your play does go over, agreeing to shorten the length before auditions will be mandatory to your play’s acceptance. Confetti Stage reserves the right to eliminate a play from the festival if this guideline is not followed.
- Separate from the previous guideline, we will be working to keep the entire length of the festival in check. In cases where the total performance time needs to be shortened, all playwrights will be encouraged to work with their playwright peer in finding ways to trim
- Typed In 12-pt, Times New Roman font and must be applicable to the Confetti Stage mission statement: Our mission is to celebrate the diversities of human experience through thought-provoking, challenging productions. We foster creative expression in a collaborative, inclusive environment that engages the Capital Region community.

Call for art: In-faux-structures at Opalka Gallery
This exhibition aims to spread awareness of inequities related to infrastructure, its planning, its building, and its public face. The project is open to all forms of media as well as both new and existing work. Proposals for site-specific and related projects—including projects outside the gallery and expanding into the community—are encouraged, as are collaborations responding to social, emotional or physical issues related to infrastructure. Collaborations may include other artists, people working in the trades, engineers, architects, poets, social activists and more. Opalka welcome humor, irony and creative interpretations and has prepared a Google Doc for those interested in collaborative projects. Email a request for access to: infauxstructure@gmail.com.

- The planning and/ or naming of infrastructure
- Connection (physical, social, etc.)

- Project Description: No more than one page description of your proposed project. *Note if the artwork is intended for indoor or outdoor installation.
- Project budget
- Names and contact information of three (3) references able to speak to your participation in a collaborative setting. *References will only be contacted if your project advances to the semi-finalist round.
- Up to 6 work samples/images. You may include video samples (2 minutes max, total). *Work should demonstrate the proposed concept.
