Explore the Clark’s permanent collection of prints, drawings and photographs housed in the Manton Study Center for Works on Paper (located next to the exhibition “Ida O’Keeffe: Escaping Georgia’s Shadow,” in the Manton Research Center.)

SUNY Art Reception
The opening exhibition of SUNY works will feature 30 pieces in a variety of media, from textile and metal sculpture to painting and photography, by 16 students and faculty members from eight schools. The pieces will be on exhibit for a full year.

Time Travels in Physics and Dance
Come for an open reading and discussion of the new book “Physics and Dance.” The book is written by Emily Coates, former New York City Ballet dancer, and Sarah Demers, CERN particle physicist.

NYCB Master Class – Dena Abergel
Bring your young dancer to the National Museum of Dance for a master class with the New York City Ballet Children’s Ballet Master Dena Abergel. Ms. Abergel was a company member of NYCB for 18 years. Her class is open to young dancers nine years of age and older with at least two years of training.

The Garifuna Collective with Bodoma Garifuna Culture Band
The Garifuna Collective preserves traditional Caribbean coastal rhythms like Wanaragua and the semi-sacred Hungu-Hungu, playing with turtle shells, jawbones, guitars, bass and spiritual singing. Bodoma Garifuna Culture Band will open the show.
