Film Screening: ‘The Hate U Give’
Based on the acclaimed New York Times bestseller by Angie Thomas, “The Hate U Give” stars Amandla Stenberg, with Regina Hall, Russell Hornsby, Issa Rae, KJ Apa, Algee Smith, Sabrina Carpenter, Common and Anthony Mackie. The film follows Starr Carter, who witnesses the murder of her best friend Khalil at the hands of police. Facing pressures from all sides of her community, she must stand up for what’s right.

First Draughts Composer Reading Session and Beer Tasting
Twelve emerging composers have their newest works performed for the first time guided by David Alan Miller, composer Christopher Theofanidis and musicians of the Albany Symphony.
