Boston indie-rock band Vundabar and Albany punk heroes Prince Daddy & The Hyena (above) will be headlining this year’s 39th annual LarkFest in the Capital City, Sept. 21, as announced by Lark BID.

They’ll be joined by other major local acts such as hip hop sensation Johnny 2 Phones, the sultry, indie rock band of music veterans Bear Grass, frequent basement gig players TOP nachos of New Paltz and the illustrious alt-metal crew of the ’90s, The Clay People.

Plus, don’t miss the uplifting, elevating raptivist duo KATANI or Pink Nois ft. Thai—another master talent R&B and rap duo with some serious musical chemistry—as well as Saratoga indie rockers Motorbike, power-pop supergroup Magic Ghrelin (members come from Algernon Cadwallader, Teenage Halloween, STAG PARTY and Sugar Trip), Rochester’s Full Body (whose sophomore album Always There will be released on Capital Region-based Five Kill Records Oct. 18), Saratoga psych-rockers Safety Meeting, soulful Albany soloist Ryan Leddick and the recently formed Black Electric, who will be serving up some dark, heavy blues.

For more information about food, drink, arts and craft vendors that will be lining Lark Street from 10:30 AM – 5:30 PM, visit albanylarkfest.com/details.
