Elijah Cancer Day Carnival 2019
It’s the first annual carnival in celebration of Albany community organizer Elijah Cancer’s life’s work, full of family fun activities. The nonprofit Elijah Dezman Khalique Cancer Foundation supports community based solutions to restore peace, save lives and continue the legacies of loved one’s who were violently taken away from the community.

Dead Gowns, Izzy Heltai, Joan Kelsey’s Silver Lining
Portland, Maine’s Dead Gowns bring the “raw and tender” soft rock, indie folk singer-songwriter Izzy Heltai puts a twist on traditional storytelling and the Troy-based string folk trio Joan Kelsey’s Silver Lining play their country-roots tunes. The group just released their four-track EP Best on June 12.
