Capital Region Musician Survey

Telling the stories of local creatives is what we do at The Collaborative and to do that better, we need to know more about working as a creative in the Capital Region. That is why we’re launching our Collaborative Musician’s Survey. We hope to better understand what it is to work as a musician, what it’s like booking gigs, how reliable the pay is, and what genres of music are in demand. We’ll share our findings with you in a series of articles to be published next year.

 

If you play music in our coverage area, we hope you’ll take the time to fill out the survey. We believe our findings will help us foster understanding, expose areas of the local creative economy that need improvement and eventually help strengthen the financial position of the creative class across the region. 

 

This is the first in a series of surveys. If you are a creative in another field, we would love to hear your thoughts on what you’d like to know from other creatives. This survey will take about ten minutes to fill out and one respondent will be randomly selected to win a $100 Parkway Music gift card.
