Creative Economy Mixer: Pitney Meadows Farm 

The Alliance for the Creative Economy will explore the rolling acres of this community farm and then gather for a discussion with Crickett Thomas-O’Dell Regional Director of the Workforce Development Institute (WDI) about the growth in the number of women farmers in the Capital Region. Food will be provided by Merv’s Meatless and Kaffeehousesaratoga, Druthers will provide a beer tasting and Folk Song will play a short set.

Bryan Brundige & His Piggly Wigglies 

Learn to swing with the help of Studio 88 Swing and the Capital Region’s premier swing band Bryan Brundige & His Piggly Wigglies. Featuring lessons abridged by sets by the Piggly Wigglies this shindig will get you tapping your toes in no time.

Jazz on the Plaza featuring Fleur Seule

Kickoff the Jazz on the Plaza series at the Cornerstone Patio with Swing hits, Jazz standards and Ballroom classics by this New York group. Having done a 5-year residency at the Tavern on the Green and rave reviews for their live shows lead singer Allyson Briggs has earned the moniker “The Glamour Girl of Jazz.” Let Fleur Seule transport you to the 1940s.

Collage Night with artist Niki Haynes 

Join Arts Center of the Capital Region curator Belinda Colon and artist Niki Haynes for a lowkey night of collage. Materials are provided but supplies are limited.

Classically trained pianist Holly Bowling is known for stunning improvisation in the jam-band style.

Get dreamy with the work of sculptor Julie Branch and painter Jon Gernon. Both artists use allegory, symbols and emotion to tell larger mythical stories.
